Administration Affairs: Union Minister Meets with Chairmen in Yangon Region

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut met with chairmen of districts, townships, wards and village-tracts administration committees of Yangon Region.

During the meeting in Yangon on Friday, the Union Minister heard reports on security and administration situation and difficulties in Yangon Region and coordinated the matters.

The Union Minister explained the reason why the State Administration Council was formed and matters including Nine Objectives and Five-Point Road Map of the State Administration Council, inspection of voters lists and casting of votes in townships and violent actions against the State. He called for cooperation from chairmen of wards and villages administration committees and also highlighted the important role of the chairmen for communities. The Union Minister also urged the chairmen to serve the duty.

After the meeting, the Union Minister provided cash assistance to family members of the wards and villages administration committees’ chairmen who lost lives during attacks in the Region.
