Accounting and Auditing: Advanced Training School opened in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Auditor-General Office opened the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School on Thursday. Member of the State Administration Council U Sai Lone Hsai, the Union Ministers and the Auditor-General formally opened the training school.

The Union Auditor General said the Government Institute for Training in Accounts and Audit was opened in Yangon under the guidance of the Auditor-General, and it was moved to Nay Pyi Taw in 2009. The institute conducts accountancy training courses for the state service personnel to provide financial management.

The Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School was opened for extended conducting of accountancy courses for both the government and private sectors as well as nurturing the experts in auditing and accounting fields to support the economic development of the nation. The Permanent Secretary of the Union Auditor-General Office later explained the salient points of the training school, current courses and future courses.
