Academic Tour: Visiting Universities and Education Colleges in Yangon

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe visited Dagon University on Saturday and met with professors, faculty members, and staff. He expressed gratitude for their efforts in both teaching and duties for matriculation exams. He emphasized plans to open more postgraduate courses and pledged support with teaching materials and lab equipment.

The Union Minister encouraged active student participation in research and group projects, and urged the teachers to be role models and teach with dedication and discipline.

The Union Minister later visited Yangon University of Education, Yankin and Thingangyun Education Degree Colleges. He called on student teachers to strive for excellence and develop students who are not only smart but also disciplined, patriotic, and respectful of cultural values. He also urged to remain politically neutral as they will serve the state duty in the future, and focus fully on their teaching responsibilities.
