Academic Achievements: Outstanding students honoured in Kayah State

Kayah State held an awards ceremony on Saturday to recognize outstanding students from primary and higher education for the 2025–2026 academic year in Loikaw. The ceremony opened with a performance by a student from Loikaw Education Degree College, to the song “Luchon Lu Kaung” to honor the awardees.

In his speech, Chief Minister U Aunt Maw emphasized that the ceremony not only acknowledges students’ academic achievements but also encourages them to contribute their skills to the state and nation in the future. Awards and cash assistance were later presented to the students, who expressed their gratitude on behalf of their peers. The event also featured performances by students from Loikaw Education Degree College, celebrating the value of youth talent.
