








A reception dinner and entertainment in honour of 75th Anniversary Independence Day hosted by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was held on the lawn of the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw Wednesday evening.
Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe and Union Ministers and their wives greeted those who attended the ceremony.
Afterwards, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla arrived at the lawn of the SAC Chairman’s Office, and cordially greeted the chairpersons, representatives of political parties, diplomats and invited guests. Later, the Prime Minister and wife took at the designated places together with those attending the ceremony.
It was followed by the awarding ceremony of parade floats marking the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day. SAC member Admiral Tin Aung San and Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn presented honourary prizes and cash awards to 2 Union Parade floats and 5 parade floats of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) that won honourary award in the Independence Day Ceremony and decorated floats from regions and states as well as Union Ministries that were presented special prize.
Also, the SAC Member General Mya Tun Oo presented awards to the Mandalay Region and the Ministry of Construction for winning the decorated float 3rd prizes.
And, the Vice Senior General presented awards for the Bago Region and the Ministry of Transport and Communications for winning the decorated float 2nd prizes. Also, the Senior General presented awards to the parachute team and for the Ayeyawaddy Region and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation for winning the decorated float 1st prizes.
After the awarding event, the Senior General and attendees enjoyed the dinner together and performances by artistes from the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. Fireworks were displayed to commemorate the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day. The Dinner was also joined by the NCA signatories and NCA non-signatories representatives.
