Fears in Mexico City that the evacuation of millions of residents during Tuesday's 7.4-magnitude quake will spur an increase in coronavirus infections. Roughly 30 buildings in the capital were damaged with some residents having to leave their homes. Amid the panic of evacuation, residents admit they forgot about social distancing. But health officials in Mexico believe the evacuations into open spaces and streets are not sufficient enough to contribute to a further outbreak of coronavirus. As of Thursday, Mexico has confirmed over 203,000 coronavirus cases and over 25,000 deaths.
