3rd Coordination meeting: Meeting to hold Diamond Jubilee Independence Day held

The Committee on Organizing Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 held its third coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on December 15.During the meeting, Committee Chairman Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day honoring ceremony is the most extraordinary occasion for the country.

In connection with the ceremony, the related honoring programs and relevant occasions are being celebrated. Due to the significant occasion which is very hard to coincide, the tasks to be carried out will be more presence. For being the highest occasion of the country, all are urged to serve with the best ability and discuss the status of completing the tasks and challenges and requirements.

Then, Joint Secretary of Committee Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung reported on the activities of the organizing committee and sub-committees, and float preparations of ministries, regions and states.Next, the committee vice chairman, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin clarified to station and display the decorated floats represented the ministries, regions and states at the Dabaung ground near the Uppatasanti Pagoda, to provide performances of choral dance groups and entertainment accompanied with the temporary music bands, completion of constructing 75th Anniversary of Independence Day commemorating exhibition booths, traditional foods exhibition booths of the national races, implementation of documentary record book to leave the historical record and to celebrate keeping packs with the people, public service personnel and the students.

Then, the committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint clarified the preparations of the floats represented ministries, regions and states and giving selection of song for the choral dance groups.Next, the committee joint-secretary permanent secretary U Myo Myint Maung explained the arrangements of participation of honoring decorated floats, the songs to be sung by the parade companies and the plans for awarding prizes to the floats.

Next, the committee member deputy ministers and the representatives from the regions and states reported implementations of related matters. Then, the committee joint secretary read the decisions approved by the meeting and the Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn gave a speech of conclusion.
