







The closing ceremony of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games was held on December 20 at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok of Thailand.
Myanmar delegation including Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Secretary-General of the Myanmar Olympic Committee U Htein Lin, Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications U Aung Kyaw Tun, Head of the Myanmar Sports Delegation, along with delegation members as well as as the officials and athletes from 10 participating countries attended the ceremony.
The program included paying respects to the late Queen, hoisting the Thai national flag, cultural performances, and a parade of athletes from 54 sports types. Chairman of the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games Organizing Committee Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn and Prime Minister of Thailand Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul made speeches at the event.
The ceremony concluded with a video highlight of memorable moments, extinguishing of the SEA Games flame, lowering of flags, and the handover of the SEA Games Federation flag to Malaysia, the next host country, followed by Malaysian cultural performances and a closing show.
