33rd SEA Games : Myanmar's total medal count stands at 71

The 33rd Southeast Asian Games continued at the respective venues in Thailand on Friday. In traditional boat racing, Myanmar earned one silver medal in the men’s coastal single sculls event, and two bronze medals in the men’s and women’s 500-meter dragon boat (10-paddler) events. In boxing, Myanmar won four bronze medals across different weight categories.

As of December 19, Myanmar’s total medal count stands at 71 medals with 3 gold, 21 silver and 47 bronze. Myanmar is currently ranked 7th overall in the medal standings.
