3 massive blasts in Gaza City

Three massive blasts shook Gaza City early on Tuesday morning amid the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. Confirmation is being sought as to what caused the explosions. The Israeli military had earlier unleashed another heavy wave of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, saying it destroyed militant tunnels and the homes of nine Hamas commanders.

At least 212 Palestinians have been killed in the week of airstrikes, including 61 children and 36 women, with more than 1,400 people wounded, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Ten people in Israel, including a five-year-old boy and a soldier, have been killed in the ongoing rocket attacks launched from civilian areas in Gaza toward civilian areas in Israel.
