







The 26th graduation ceremony of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon/Mandalay) was held at the convocation hall of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Mandalay) in the afternoon on 28th November.
First, the congregation led by the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko observed five precepts and took the Tharaniya Ovadakahta given by the Chancellor of the Pariyatti Universities, Chairman of the State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee Dr. Baddanta Kumarabhiwuntha . Next, the Chairman of the Administrative Body of the State Pariyatti Sasana Universities, Vice Chairman of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee Baddanta Thumingalarbhiwuntha Mai-Thauk Sayadawgyi gave the Tharaniya Ovadakahta. Then, the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Mandalay) registrar Sayadaw Dr. Baddanta Kumuda reported matters on the 26th Sasana Takkasila Graduation Ceremony.
Next, the Union Minister U Ko Ko and Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko reported regious matters. Then, one receipient of Sasana Takkasila Dhamma Paragu (Ph.D), receipients of Sasana Takkasila Maha Dhammacariya (MA) and Sasana Takkasila Dhammacariya (BA) were conferred the relevant degrees by the Rector Sayadaw.
Afterward, the degree receipient monks took the oath before the Chancellor Sayadawgyi of the State Pariyatti Sasana Universities. Next, the congregation led by the Union Minister heard the sermon delivered by the Vice Chancellor Sayadawgyi and shared the merits gained. After the ceremony, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, commander of central command, departmental officials and well wishers offered the offertories to the invited 18 Sayadawgyis and 156 degree receipeint monks.
At 8 a.m., the Union Minister and Chief Minister inspected the practical learning of the students of performing arts division and art of painting and sculpture division of state high school of arts (Mandalay) and viewed the presentation of performance by the students and artistes of staff members of production division at the practicing theater.
Then, the union minister and chief minister met with the staff members from the department of archeological research and national museum and department of fine arts and gave necessary instructions.
