2025 General Election : Acting President casts vote in Nay Pyi Taw

Myanmar’s 2025 multi-party democratic general election was held nationwide starting at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, with voters casting ballots at designated polling stations.

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing voted at Polling Station No. (1) in Anawrahta Ward of Nay Pyi Taw Zeyathiri Township, together with union-level officials, senior military officers, their families, and other personnel.

After voting, the Acting President answered questions from media representatives. [Soundbite] The Acting President later toured polling stations in the Nay Pyi Taw Council area to observe and encourage voters participating in the election.
