2-1 Victory Over Thailand : Myanmar advances to ASEAN Championship Final

The Myanmar Women’s Team has secured a spot in the final of the ASEAN Women’s Championship (MSIG Serenity Cup 2025) after a 2-1 victory over Thailand in the semi-final match on Saturday.

Thailand took an early lead, scoring just six minutes into the game. However, Myanmar quickly responded with an equalizer from Win Theingi Tun in the 13th minute, leveling the score at 1-1. The first half ended with both teams locked in a tight contest. In the second half, the game remained competitive until the 72nd minute, when Win Theingi Tun scored the decisive goal, securing Myanmar’s place in the final.

The final match of the ASEAN Women’s Championship is scheduled to take place on August 19 at 7:30 PM local time in Viet Nam, where Myanmar will compete against Australia.
