A cargo ship, transporting 3,000 tons of cement from Hai Duong to Quy Nhon, Tuesday tilted and ran aground approximately five nautical miles southwest of Nam Dinh. 10 crew members of a cargo ship were promptly assisted by the maritime rescue force.

The Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center mobilized resources in the area and coordinated with the forces of the Nam Dinh Province Border Guard Command to assist the distressed ship. By the afternoon of April 30th, all 10 crew members were safely rescued and brought back to shore.
