Wushu Competition: SAC members awarded the prizes to the winners

The 2023-2024 Regions and States Wushu Competition final match and prize awarding ceremony was held at Wunna Theiddi Stadium (b) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 11th March and attended by the SAC members Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Mann Nyein Maung, Dr. Hmu Htan, Dr. Ba Shwe, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, Union ministers, Deputy Ministers, Departmental officials.

First, the SAC members, Union Ministers and guexts enjoyed the final matches of men aged 12 years and above Wushu Taolu, Nanquan event, men and women aged under 25 years  Wushu Sanshou event and Women aged under 12 years Wushu Taolu and Jianshu event of the competitions.

At the prize awarding ceremony, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint and U Htin Kyaw Thu awarded the first, second and third prices to the winners of dual women and men attack competition, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung and Dr. Soe Win awarded the winners of men and women aged 12 years and above, Union Minister U Min Thein Zan to the winers of men (60 Kilo) under 25, Union minister U Ko Ko Hlaing the winers of men (70 Kilo) under 25, SAC members U Yan Kyaw, U Shwe Kyein, Khun San Lwin to the winners of men (75 Kilo), women (45 Kilo) and Men men (48 Kilo) under 25, Dr. Hmu Htan and Dr. Ba Shwe to the winners of best athletes, Mann Nyein to the women championship winner Taninthayi Region team and men championship winner of Kayin State team in Sanshou event, Poral Aung Thein to the women championship winner Mandalay Region team and men championship winner of Yangon Region team in Taolu event.

The SAC member Daw Dwe Bu awarded the Championship Trophy to the Mandalay Region team.

The competition was held with the aim at turning out new generation of Wushu athletes from regions and states, it’s reported.
