Coordination Meeting: Meeting on organizing Buddha Day held

A work coordination meeting for holding a ceremony of water pouring to the Bodhi tree in the commemoration of Buddha Day which falls on the Full Moon Day of Kasone month of 1386 Myanmar Era organized by the Taninthayi Region Government was held at the meeting hall of the Region Government in Dawei Township at 9:30 AM on 8th of May.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister U MyatKo said that the Region Government will organize the water pouring ceremony in the commemoration of Buddha Day which falls on the Full Moon Day of Kasone month, the coordination meeting with the departments is held in order to hold the ceremony successfully, all attendees are urged to give necessary suggestions to organize the ceremony successfully.

Next, the Region officer of the Department of Religious Affairs and the departmental officials reported the related sectors and the Region Ministers gave supplemented discussions and the Chief Minister coordinated requirements on the reports, it’s learnt.
