LIV Golf begins

The three-day LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament began at the Fanling golf course in Hong Kong on Friday. A lively and vibrant atmosphere in Fanling as fans of the world’s top golfers gathered to watch them perform. Despite the players only teeing off at noon many arrived hours earlier just to watch their favourite sportsmen practice.

Some spectators were eager to express who they are rooting for. South African Dean Burmester and Mexican Abraham Ancer shot seven-under par rounds of 63 to be stroke clear of a six-way tie for second. After 18 holes, 25 of the 54-player field were within four strokes of the lead.
