Aid for cyclone-affected people: Relief items supplied by Tatmadaw aircrafts

Tatmadaw is undertaking necessary rescue and rehabilitation tasks in the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA-affectedareas by sending rescue teams. Relief aid and food stuff donated by families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers and relief items provided by the National Disaster Management Committee are being delivered by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vessels to the locals affected by natural disasters in Rakhine State.

On 22nd May, officials and staffs from the Ministries, military service men, members of Myanmar construction Entrepreneurs Association, departmental officials and volunteerswho  shelter repair kits donated by respective departments and well-wishers, tea mix packets produced by Tatmadaw factories, soft drink bottles, nails, electric cables, salt, eggs and relief items were transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts for four times to Sittwe airport via Mingaladon airport in Yangon. The relied items arrived by the Tatmadaw aircrafts were accepted by officials and they will be delivered to relevant departments.
