China’s Xi meets with Gabonese counterpart in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Gabonese counterpart Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema in Beijing on November 6, upgrading their relations to a China-Gabon community with a shared future for the new era. During the meeting, a joint statement was issued announcing the new strategic partnership level. The two nations signed cooperation accords spanning the Global Security Initiative, zero-tariff treatment, industrial and supply chains, and Chinese language education.
