Iran has said it could reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days if the United States meets its conditions, shortening its previous proposed timeline of one week. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said the move could restore security in the strategic waterway and allow negotiations with Washington to resume. He added that Iran’s seven-stage plan remains the basis for talks between the two countries through intermediaries.
