Public Relations: Work undertakings at Loikaw District IPRD

On Wednesday, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw, accompanied by concerned officials, visited Loikaw District Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) office.

The Chief Minister overviewed the restored office buildings damaged by the terrorist insurgents, layout of public library and service provision using Digital Library Management System (DLMS), Mini Museum dispaly, work implementation of Community Centre, training room arrangement, operational status of mobile library services and children’s reading rooms.

He instructed on better public engangement in reading habit promotion, acceleration of mobile library service, long-term preservation of books and publications at the library, and coordianted necessities. Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to the State IPRD Office, oversaw the operation of office and Loikaw Sar Pay bookstore and stressed on further development of the bookstore and provided necessary instructions.
