Myanmar / Thailand: President receives Minister of Energy

A delegation led by Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Energy of Thailand paid a courtesy call on President U Min Aung Hlaing on Monday at the President's Reception Hall.

During the meeting, both sides held cordial discussions regarding the improving friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand as good neighboring nations, the progress achieved during President U Min Aung Hlaing's goodwill visit to Thailand, where discussions were held to further enhance bilateral cooperation, opportunities to further boost cooperation on energy sector and joint efforts for the mitigation of climate change and the disaster risk reduction.
