Pyithu Hluttaw Session: 18th of 3rd regular session held

The 18th day of the Third Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw was held today, October 19, at 10:00 AM in the Pyithu Hluttaw Meeting Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Out of 351 eligible Hluttaw representatives, 344 attended.

According to the agenda, the session began with the asking and answering of questions. A total of six questions were raised including whether there are plans to provide security, clear the area, and carry out repair work on the road from Yan Myo Aung village in Kyaukkyi Township to the Inthabauk Bridge asked by U Han Thar Win from Kyaukkyi Constituency, whether there are plans to upgrade the 50-bed hospital in Mongsat District to a 100-bed hospital and to construct patient wards as soon as possible asked by U Sai Moe Zaw Oo from Mongsat Constituency and whether there are plans to ensure that the names of private schools or second-category private schools under the Private Education Law are in the Myanmar language asked by U Win Myint Maung from Kyaukpadaung Constituency.

These questions were answered by Deputy Minister for Defence Major General Aung Myo Thant, Deputy Minister for Health Dr. Tin Tun, and Deputy Minister for Education U Win Maung Thein, respectively.
