A commercial building in Daegu, South Korea where 38 people were injured when the ceiling finish materials collapsed during a sales event. Investigators from a joint forensic team enter the building amid the debris scattered all over the place. They thoroughly inspect each part of the second floor, where the accident occurred.

The focus of the inspection was the ceiling panels and interior components such as the supporting framework. It has been found that the ceiling had a three-layer structure made of gypsum boards and paper-faced plywood. Police have identified the initial point of the ceiling collapse by analyzing footage of the accident and debris at the scene. They believe the ceiling panels above the stage fell first, followed by a chain reaction of the remaining sections collapsing one after another.
