Order No.71/2026 : Appointment of Judges of the Union Supreme Court

The President's Office issued Order No.71/2026 on October 9th regarding the appointment of Judges of the Union Supreme Court. Under section 299 (B) of the Constitution, Section 16 (B) sub-section (6) of the Union Government Law, and Section 25 of the Supreme Court of the Union Law, Dr. Myo Win Aung and U Saw Myo Myo were appointed as judges of the Supreme Court of the Union. The order was signed by President U Min Aung Hlaing.
