Indian Air Force showcases aerial skills

The skies over the city of Meerut witnessed a spectacular display of precision manoeuvres on Sunday as the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team took to the skies.

A special local connection to the display, two pilots from Meerut also took part in intense manoeuvres. Known as ambassadors of the Indian Air Force, the team painted the skies of Meerut in Tricolour. Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth said that the Surya Kiran Aerobatic team aims to inspire youth to join the armed forces while showcasing the Indian Air Force’s strength and flying skills.
