Israel-Lebanon talks delayed to October, ambassadors to meet in Washington

The next round of Israel-Lebanon negotiations scheduled for Rome has been postponed to October, but the ambassadors will still meet at the US State Department in Washington next week. Ambassadors from Israel and Lebanon will meet next week at the State Department to talk about implementing the framework agreement agreed upon in June.

The June framework deal aims to disarm Hezbollah, withdraw Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, and deploy the Lebanese army to pilot zones in the south.
