Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia remains open to negotiations and expects a trilateral meeting involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine in the near future. Peskov noted that Moscow remains open to negotiations regarding the Ukraine issue, adding that no preconditions have been set for the talks to take place.

The remarks came following the recent visits to Moscow and Kiev by U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who conducted separate talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
