Six FPV suicide drones attacked Tada-U International Airport and nearby areas in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region, on Thursday afternoon.

Security forces detected and intercepted the drones using air-defense and counter-drone measures. The explosives carried by the drones were also safely neutralized. The incident briefly disrupted some domestic flights, but no people, vehicles, or airport runways were reportedly damaged. Authorities condemned the attack, saying that targeting civilian transport infrastructure could violate international humanitarian law. Security forces are investigating the incident and searching for those responsible.
