Maldives, Japan strengthen cooperation on climate change and environment

The Maldives and Japan held bilateral talks on Wednesday to expand cooperation on climate resilience, environmental protection, and sustainable resource management. This partnership aims to provide the Maldives with technical assistance, expertise, and development backing to handle climate risks.

The two sides also exchanged views on a wide range of areas aimed at further strengthening the longstanding close ties between the two nations.
