Tradition and Culture Preservation : 27th Performing Arts Competition in Mon State

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Win Than attended the opening ceremony of the Mon State 27th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Higher Level) at Mawlamyaing University on September 9.

At the ceremony, the Mon Literature and Culture Sub-committee performed the Mon Hintha dance. In his opening speech, the state chief minister stated that this competition plays a crucial role in preserving traditional cultural heritage, handing it down to future generations, and further developing national culture. A total of 49 contestants will participate in the Mon State 27th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Higher Level).
