Miss Dominican Republic wins 75th Miss World

Miss World 2026 has concluded in Viet Nam on Saturday, with the Dominican Republic's Joheirry Mola Dominguez emerging as the winner. Dominguez brought an unusual mix of education, community work and storytelling to her new role as Miss World 2026, working as a Literature and Social Studies teacher.

The Miss World organization described Dominguez as a “dedicated educator, community advocate, and communicator", highlighting her commitment to human connection, empathy and the values instilled by her family.
