Press Release: President will make Official Visit to Viet Nam

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a press regarding the President’s official visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on September 1st. In the press released, it’s stated that,   at the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam His Excellency Mr. To Lam and spouse, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar His Excellency U Min Aung Hlaing and spouse Daw Kyu Kyu Hla will pay an Official Visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the near future.

During the visit, the President of Myanmar will meet and hold bilateral talks with the President of Viet Nam, meet with the Prime Minister of Viet Nam and President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam. Additionally, the President will receive representatives from economic organizations. 

Furthermore, the President will attend the Myanmar-Viet Nam Business Forum 2026 and the itinerary includes visits to digital and electronic technology industries. During the visit, the President will hold cordial discussion and exchange views on further consolidation of the existing friendly relations, promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two governments, parliaments and peoples, as well as cooperation across economic, cultural, and various other sectors. The President and spouse will be accompanied by Union Ministers and officials during the visit.
