International Travel Expo: Union Minister attends expo in Viet Nam

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Culture, Hotels and Tourism U Maung Myint attended the 20th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2026) and its related meetings in Viet Nam.

As part of the visit, the delegation attended the 20th International Travel Expo Commemorative Dinner and "Vietnam Night" held under the theme "The Beat of ITE HCMC" at the GEM Center on August 26. The opening ceremony of the 20th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City subsequently took place on August 27.

During the expo, the Union Minister and delegation members toured the Myanmar tourism pavilion, country-specific pavilions of other participating nations, and booths set up by tourism-related enterprises. On the morning of August 27, the Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister attended the High-Level MICE Tourism Forum.

Later in the afternoon, the 7th ACMECS Tourism Ministers' Meeting was held in the meeting room of the REX Hotel, where the Union Minister of Culture, Hotels, and Tourism of Myanmar served as the chairman. Following this, the Union Minister and relevant officials attended the 8th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam (CLMV) Tourism Ministers' Meeting and its accompanying press conference.
