Reconstruction Works : Union Minister inspects reconstruction of bridges

Reconstruction works of bridges crossing Sinthay Creek and Shwe Paung Laung Bridge are underway, following the damage caused by Typhoon Yagi.

These facilities include 950 ft long bridge on Shwe Myo village entrance road in Tatkone Township, 900 ft long bridge, connecting Waegyi  and Win Pyan  villages in Pobbathiri Township and 550 ft long Shwe Paung Laung း Bridge which connects Kyi Taung  and Thayar Wham  villages in Zeyathiri Township.

On August 28th, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein and officials conducted field inspection and supervised the reconstruction works. The Union Minister instructed for timely completion of the working process to meet the set standard, ensuring long term durability of the bridges.
