Bilateral Relations : President accepts the Credentials of the Thai Ambassador

President U Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials of Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar Mr. Tor Saralamba at the Presidential Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

On his arrival at the Credential Hall, the Ambassador paid respects to the flags of Myanmar and Thailand. He then received a guard of honor, while the national anthems of the two countries were played. Afterwards, the Ambassador presented his Credentials to President U Min Aung Hlaing.

The two sides later discussed friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand, further strengthening of cooperation in trade and investment, promoting border trade, enhancing security and stability along the border, and continuing cooperation on the path toward a multiparty democratic system. The two sides also exchanged views on future state-level friendship visits between the two countries.
