Meeting in DSA: C-in-C meets with cadets and Tatmadawmen

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo met with instructors, cadets and post-graduate cadets from the Defence Services Academy and Defence Services Technological Academy as well as military officials and Tatmadawmen from Pyin Oo Lwin Station at the convocation hall of the Defence Services Academy on Thursday.

Appreciating the duty-consciousness of Tatmadawmen, the General urged all to try their best in conducting military training to become role model battalion for other units. He also pointed out the Tatmadaw’s vital role in taking responsibilities during the country’s hardest periods in 1988 and 2021. 

In an effort to prevent nationwide terrorist acts, the General called for systematic training of service men in line with Civil Service Training Policy adopted in 2011 to defend the country. In order to turning out skillful Tatmadawmen with physical and mental strength, the General urged the instructors to train the cadets in the balancing unyielding standards with purposeful mentorship to build discipline without breaking morale.

The cadets are urged to follow changing battlefields rules and regulations, constant learning on changing trend of military education and training and latest technology while building empathy and sympathy to all servicemen and their families.

The General also gave necessary instructions on fulfill the needs of the Tatmadawmen and their families for socio-economic development and holding sports competitions for physical fitness of Tatmadawmen.  After the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and wife and officials cordially greeted the instructors, cadets and post graduate trainees and military officials.
