Promoting Cooperation: Meeting with the Thai delegation

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo received a Thai delegation led by Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Secretary-General of Thailand’s National Security Council (NSC) at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on August 27th.

The meeting discussed matters on successful holding of the 9th High Level Committee (9th HLC) meeting in Thailand, plans to promote cooperation between the two armed forces while combating terriorist activities for border peace and stability, law enforcement and regional development.

They also discussed to elevate cooperation in border trading, regional security and exchanging of information on joint combating of online gambling and online fraud activities, and prevention against smuggling arms and ammunition and illegal drug trafficking.
