






Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw and responsible officials Tuesday morning inspected the ongoing works carried out by the State Rural Roads, including the asphalt paving of University Avenue Road in Bhado Ward, measuring 3,685 feet in length, upgrading it from an unpaved road, as well as quality testing activities.
They also inspected the construction of a stone-lined drainage channel, 1,706 feet in length and 3.5 feet wide, on Ngu Shwe Wa Road in Daw-U Khu Ward, being undertaken by the State Roads Department, and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction of a new one-storey RC office building (50 feet by 70 feet) at No. (2) Mining Enterprise, State Mining Project Office; the concreting of a 690‑foot by 15‑foot office entrance road and major repairs to ore storage sheds, warehouse storage facilities, and staff housings. The Chief Minister then provided necessary guidance and instructions to the relevant officials, it’s reported.
