Field Inspection Tour : Bago Region CM conducted field inspection in Pyay

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, together with members of the region government, conducted field inspections Sunday morning in Pyay Township and Shwe Taung Township to promote the development of agriculture, livestock breeding and MSME businesses.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and officials visited the “A One” agricultural machinery manufacturing workshop owned by U Aung Zin Min in Kyo Yatha Village, Pyay Township, where they inspected the production of mobile threshing machines for various pulses and pulse harvesting machines. They also observed the trial operation of a solar-powered tiller manufactured by U Tun Tun Oo, owner of Shwe Wah Tun agricultural machinery manufacturing industry in Pyay.

They also inspected a 300-acre commercial scale vegetable-crop cultivation in Hmawza မှော်ဇာ Village Tract, Pyay Township; the “Thar Lun Kaung” organic fertilizer manufacturing workshop owned by U Thein Tun Win in Nawaday Industrial Zone, Pyay; and temporary retaining-wall works carried out to repair a collapsed and damaged section of the road embankment between mileposts 2/4 and 2/5 on a road in Pyay. In Shwe Taung Township, they visited the “Cho Cho San” handloom workshop owned by MSME entrepreneur Daw Cho Cho Win in Kyar Ni Kan Ward and inspected the production and sale of various types of silk and woven fabrics.

They also inspected the combined breeding of dairy cattle and goats by livestock entrepreneur U Hla Win on Ti Kone Road, Shwe Taung. In addition, they observed the successful growth of Yezin Pawsan-2 seed-production rice fields in Ma Yar Mann Village Tract, Shwe Taung Township.

They also visited and encouraged a 100-acre model cultivation field in Ywar Thar Yar Village Tract, where Ya-14 rice varieties are being successfully cultivated after arrangements were made to replace the previous rice varieties in sandy upland fields that had recorded low yields. The Chief Minister and officials provided necessary coordination and assistance. Afterwards, they arrived at the ancient and historic Shwe Nat Taung Pagoda, where they conducted a field inspection to assess the feasibility of expanding the pagoda platform and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials. They also donated cash for the all-round renovation and maintenance of the pagoda, it’s reported.
