Four workers hit and killed by train in Japan

Four track maintenance workers were struck and killed by a limited express train in Tochigi Prefecture of Tokyo on Thursday.

The accident involved the Spacia X express train operated by Tobu Railway. Tobu Railway stated that a lookout system was deployed with a spotter flagging approaching trains and drivers sounding horns. Besides, authorities were investigating why the collision occurred despite these measures.
