Tour in Ayeyawady Region: President visits universities and sports facilities

President U Min Aung Hlaing inspected universities and sports facilities in Hinthada and Maubin in Ayeyawady Region on Sunday.

At Aye Mya Thaya Sports Ground in Hinthada, the President instructed officials to conduct systematic research and calculations on upgrading the grounds into football stadiums equipped with 400-metre running tracks. On arrival at the Hinthada University, the President stressed the need to continuously maintain the universities’ appearance and to keep campuses remain clean, orderly and attractive.

He also called for systematic efforts to improve the university environment and facilities. At the University of Agriculture and Livestock Breeding in MaUbin, the President heard reports on administrative and academic matters. Upon the reports, the President highlighted the importance of systematically teaching and training students in agriculture and livestock breeding.

He called for efforts to produce qualified agricultural and livestock specialists who can contribute to the country’s development. After the meeting, the President took a tour around the university campus and gave instructions on systematic work implementation. On August 8, the President visited the Technological University and Pathein University and instructed officials to keep facility clean and pleasant, meeting the characteristics of the university.
