










President U Min Aung Hlaing held talks with the Acting President of the National Assembly of Thailand Mr. Mongkol Surasajja at the National Assembly in Bangkok on Friday.
The Thailand's Acting President of the National Assembly welcomed President U Min Aung Hlaing and his delegation, expressing confidence that the two countries will strengthen cooperation in peace, development, and parliamentary exchanges for their mutual benefit.
President U Min Aung Hlaing expressed willingness to promote cooperation in the parliamentary affairs so as to contribute to the Myanmar's effort to transition to democracy.
He also requested Thailand’s support in ensuring the rights and legal protection for Myanmar nationals and migrant workers residing in Thailand for various circumstances. The President stressed to continue efforts for enhancing bilateral friendship and cooperation through collaboration between the two parliaments.
