President U Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by a high-level Myanmar delegation, paid homage to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha during his official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand on Friday.

The delegation visited the Temple of the Emerald Buddha,  situated within the grounds of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, where they paid respects to the country's most revered Buddhist image and observed the temple's magnificent architecture and religious heritage.

President U Min Aung Hlaing also laid wreaths in memory of Queen Mother Sirikit, and Princess Bajrakitiyabha. He also presented replicas of the Maravijaya Buddha image and signed condolence books.
