The Kayah State Government has been implementing regional development projects to promote the state's socio-economic progress. As part of these efforts, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw, accompanied by members of the State Government, inspected the progress of various development-related construction projects on Monday.

The Chief Minister and officials first visited the Kayah State Electricity Engineer's Office to inspect the completion status of the construction of a four-storey staff housing building comprising four residential units. They also inspected the major renovation works being carried out on the basketball Court and taekwondo gymnasium under the State Department of Sports and Physical Education, which had been damaged during terrorist incidents. In addition, they reviewed the condition of the tennis court requiring renovation and examined the completed brick boundary wall construction at the State Cooperative Office compound.

Following the inspections, the Chief Minister gave the necessary instructions to the officials concerned and coordinated the required measures to ensure the successful completion of the projects, it’s reported.
