Indian diaspora in Romania welcomes President Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu addressed members of the Indian community and "Friends of India" in Bucharest on the final day of her State visit to Romania.

Murmu said the close ties between the people of India and Romania remain the strongest pillar of bilateral relations and acknowledged the Indian community's contribution to Romania's development and to strengthening people-to-people ties. She also highlighted expanding India-Romania cooperation in sustainable development, climate change, counter-terrorism and global peace.
