Inspection of Sports Trainings: MOSA UM inspected sports trainings

Union Minister for Sport Affairs U Ye Myint Tun on Monday inspected track and field training of athletes from Youth Camp at Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Complex (Gold Camp). The Union Minister visited track and field athletes training at Wunna Theikdhi Sports Ground and Training Ground No. 1.

He said the ministry is providing nutritious meals and adequate calorie intake to support training. He also assured athletes that any accommodation or food-related concerns would be addressed promptly. He called on athletes to improve Myanmar's sports standards and strive for success at the SEA Games, pledging continued government support.

He also stressed the importance of maintaining good health and discipline in training, travel and daily life. The Union Minister urged coaches and administrators to implement systematic short-term training programs, prioritize medal-winning events, provide opportunities for overseas competition and work closely with athletes. He then fulfilled the needs of the athletes, coaches, and administrators.
