Development Works: Chief Minister inspects developmen works

Kachin State government is carrying out the measures for development of Agriculture, livestock and MSME  businesses while ensuring food sufficiency.

On 11th July, Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan and officials inspected the work undertakings in MoeKaung Township.

During the inspection, they observed ready-made food production, pig farming, and fingerlings breeding in Kyun Taw Ward, and coordinated the necessaries including loan disburment. Livestock assisted medicines were also provided to the breeders.  

At KoneTanGyi Village-tract, they inspected the piggery, cattle farm, and small-scale Oil Mill, operated by the State Econmic Promotion Fund. They then attended a ceremony to provide Seeder, Fertilizer and seeds to farmers in Namma Village.

During the meeting with local farmers, the Chief Minister pledged to provide the necessaries as much as possible, urging them to strive for meeting the targeted yield with the cooperation of respective departments. Next, official from State Agriculture Department made the explanation on good agriculture practices.

After hearing the necessaries for agriculture and village development presented by farmers, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements. The Chief Minister and party also observed the demonstration of Biochar and broadcasting of natural and Uera fertilizar.

In the evening, the Chief Minister inspected the designated site to implement Livestock Zone near NgwePyaw Model Village in Myitkyina. The Chief Minister then observed the poultry farm and process of fingerlings breeding and incubation.
