Pyithu Hluttaw: 21st day meeting continued in Nay Pyi Taw

The 21st day meeting of the second regular session of the 3rd Pyithu Hluttaw took place at the Pyithu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday, with 347 out of the 351 Hluttaw representatives in attendance.

During the question and answer session, Hluttaw representatives raised questions on implementation of the Independent Complaints Mechanism to report judicial misconduct, corruption and integrity of the justice and disciplinary system and amendment of a Consumer Protection Act to mandate legal protections over price satisfaction.

In addition, questions were raised on expansion of the road connecting Moe Nyo and Gyo Pin Kyauk Townships, upgrading of roads in Oae Thae Gone township, Gaw Yin Gi Gone village in Taikkyi Township and Myothit Township. Judge of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Ko Ko, Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min and Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural DevelopmentĀ  U Thike Soe responded the questions.
