Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met in Putrajaya on Thursday, to advance bilateral relations. The leaders’ two-day official talks successfully resolved outstanding fishery disputes, addressed cross-border security, and pushed for stronger agricultural and regional economic cooperation.

Besides, both leaders agreed to jointly officiate a road linking the Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS)  complex in Malaysia, and the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) complex in Thailand, aimed at vastly improving regional logistics and cross-border connectivity.
